Chimney Flue Cover — Top Mount Single Flue Cap | Fits 8×8 to 13×13
Most chimney flue covers are designed to clamp onto the clay flue tile — friction is what holds them in place. Mine mount to the chimney crown with a full-perimeter flange that can be set in elastomeric adhesive. The lid removes when you need access. The look is handmade, not off-a-shelf. Same footprint as the standard. Better in every other way.
Fits Standard Flue Sizes
This flue cover is 14×14 at the screen area (screen height is custom — message me) and 17×17 at the 1½" mounting flange. Fits outside flue tile dimensions including 8×8, 9×9, 8×13, and 13×13. This is a top-mount cap — it sits on the chimney crown, not clamped to the tile. Need a 13×17, 17×17, 20×20, or 24×24? These can be made in any size. Contact me for a custom quote.
Designed for masonry chimney crowns. Can also be top-mounted on a chase cover using an EPDM rubber gasket — message me if that's your application.

Because copper is a premium material, we don't trust cardboard. Every Archaic Metal cap is secured inside a custom-built, heat-treated wood crate. This prevents dents and 'fret marks' during transit. Your order is fully insured and shipped via heavy-duty freight to ensure it arrives in 'New Penny' condition.
Please note: Large caps ship via LTL Freight. If your property cannot accommodate a full-sized 18-wheeler, please let us know so we can arrange a terminal pickup or a smaller delivery truck.
