Large caps ship via LTL freight in a custom-built, heat-treated wood crate, fully insured. I need your exact dimensions, address type (residential or commercial), and zip code before you order. Call or text (text is best) (609) 352-9840 to receive a custom freight quote. LTL freight means your order will arrive on a full-size tractor-trailer. The driver will bring the crate to the back of the truck with liftgate service — curbside delivery. You are responsible for getting it up your driveway from there. Delivery add-ons are available if needed. If your property can’t accommodate a full-size freight truck or you don’t have help moving the crate from the curb, contact me before ordering and I’ll arrange delivery add-ons for the freight company to move the crate to a designated area on or inside your property. Terminal pickup and smaller delivery vehicle options are also available. This way it arrives the way it left my shop — in perfect condition.

If you have a wood-framed prefab chimney chase, a chase cover is the flat metal top that seals it — and it needs to be right.

Every chase cover ships from my shop in Berlin, NJ, hand-fabricated to your exact dimensions — properly sloped for drainage, hemmed edges, and a 3” soldered standing collar around each flue pipe penetration. Most fabricators treat soldering as an optional upcharge. Here it’s standard on every copper and stainless cover, built in at no extra cost.

Material Options

Stainless Steel (2B 304 24 gauge) — The workhorse material for chase covers. Corrosion-resistant, strong, and indefinitely maintainable. Soldered collar standard.

16oz Copper — The premium choice. Develops a natural patina over time, outlasts the chase it sits on, and carries a soldered collar as standard. A copper chase cover is a permanent installation.

Do I Need a Chase Cover or a Chimney Cap?

If you have a wood-framed prefab chimney chase, you need both. The chase cover seals the top of the chase — the cap mounts on top of it. They’re two separate pieces. Not sure what you have? Text a photo to (609) 352-9840 and I’ll tell you exactly what you need.

Lead Time

3–4 weeks from measurement confirmation. Every cover is made to order — I don’t stock finished inventory.

How to Order

Select your approximate width and approximate length using the size selectors above. Your cover will be custom fabricated to your exact dimensions — add a minimum of 1/4” to your measurements for proper fit.
