My custom caps start around $950 for smaller single-flue designs. Most orders come in between $1,500 and $3,500 depending on chimney size, number of flues, and material. Copper and complex multi-flue caps run toward the higher end. My average job is right around $2,600 shipped — that's where most homeowners land once I know their dimensions.

Of note, freight shipping means it gets delivered by 18 wheeler. That may seem obvious but I didn’t realize they were going to deliver to the shipping address by 18 wheeler. Our property is not suitable for 18 wheelers but our contractor was able to arrange pick up from the freight company when it arrived to our city. The freight company was very friendly and helpful on the phone when they called to arrange drop off. Just something to be planned out if you order something shipped by freight.
