Modern Chimney Flue Cover — Top Mount | Fits 8×8 to 13×13

Most chimney flue covers are designed to clamp onto the clay flue tile — friction is what holds them in place. Mine mount to the chimney crown with a full-perimeter flat flange that can be set in elastomeric adhesive or fastened through the flange — stainless steel fasteners recommended. The lid removes when you need access to the flue. This version adds louvered sides and a crown detail above, matching the full-size Modern cap profile. Fits Standard Flue Sizes

This flue cover is 14×14 at the screen area. Most are 17×17 at the 1½" mounting flange — some footprints are larger depending on configuration. Message me your chimney top size before ordering and I'll confirm fit. Fits outside flue tile dimensions including 8×8, 9×9, 8×13, and 13×13. This is a top-mount cap — it sits on the chimney crown, not clamped to the tile. Screen height is 8" — need taller, message me. Need a 13×17, 17×17, 20×20, or 24×24? These can be made in any size. Designed for masonry chimney crowns. Can also be top-mounted on a chase cover using an EPDM rubber gasket — message me if that's your application.

• Copper flue covers are riveted with copper rivets and solid brass mandrels. All other materials are riveted with stainless steel color-match rivets — not the copper-plated steel mandrels you'll find on import product.
• Optional stepped base upgrade — extends the base footprint to 17×17 with a 20×20 mounting flange footprint, without changing the cap size. Message me to add.
